Student Life Communications is a hands-on, industry-standard advertisement agency atmosphere at the University of Iowa.

How might I collaborate closely with multiple departments within the Division of Student Life to visually communicate marketing and advertising concepts using Adobe Creative Cloud while delivering effective design solutions for the Iowa Memorial Union, Office of the Dean of Students, Recreational Services, and University Counseling Services?

I contributed to the Student Life Communications team at the University of Iowa as a graphic design intern. This role helped guide my focus toward the following areas during the internship:

  • Brand Identity

  • Digital Content (digital screen displays, online promotion, and social media graphics)

  • Illustration and Post-Processing Photography

  • Print Collateral (advertisements, banners, brochures, flyers, and posters)

My core objectives were to effectively collaborate with team members, clients, and supervisors to deliver thoughtful, strategic design solutions. This involved clear communication, responsiveness to feedback, and the ability to translate marketing concepts into compelling visual outcomes.
