In December 2023, I earned a bachelor's degree in graphic design from the University of Iowa. During that time, I discovered my passion for crafting brand identities that leave a lasting impact by using visually rich design assets to thoughtfully enhance the storytelling behind each brand’s personality. This passion inspired me to work in-house for a brand I have admired throughout my Iowan life, the University of Iowa. Over the course of my year-long internship, I designed more than 80 digital and print assets, gaining hands-on experience and deepening my connection with the brand. My desire to learn more about design did not stop there. I wanted to understand how design impacts users on a digital interaction level, so I enrolled in a UI/UX design certificate program through UC San Diego Extended Studies. I’m always eager to expand my skills and explore different design disciplines because I believe that growing as a designer means embracing new challenges and constantly learning.
Besides designing, I have many hobbies and interests: they include hiking, creating ceramic pottery, watching the latest popular TV series, staying current with collegiate sports, and spending time with family and friends. I mainly find fun activities that help fuel my creative nature.

Digital & Print Design:
Created and refined 80+ digital and print assets for the University of Iowa, working with creative and marketing teams across seven departments using ActiveCollab.
Designed magazines, online promotions, packaging, and illustrations using Adobe Creative Cloud.
Collaborated with clients to revise design assets in response to evolving project needs, ensuring alignment with goals.
Prepared print-ready assets by ensuring correct file formats, resolution, color profiles, bleeds, and crop marks.
Brand Identity:
Applied in-depth knowledge of the University of Iowa’s brand guidelines to create cohesive digital and print assets, ensuring visual consistency across Division of Student Life content.
Led a conceptual brand identity redesign for a restaurant, creating a new logo, color palette, typography, and imagery direction to modernize its visual presence while retaining existing customers and attracting new audiences.
Developed complete brand identity systems, including brand personality and voice, logos, color palettes, typography, imagery, and visual guidelines.
UI/UX Design & Front-End Development:
Utilized Figma, Adobe XD, and Axure to design for automotive trading, ecommerce, health, meal delivery, social media, and travel research markets.
Created high-fidelity web and app prototypes by designing wireframes based on UX deliverables.
Improved an ecommerce website by conducting usability tests and surveys of six user participants, increasing customer retention from 83% to 100% through targeted design revisions.
Developed a responsive travel research website using HTML and CSS, applying a mobile-first design strategy to optimize usability across mobile, tablet, and desktop devices.
