About

Isaac Guerra

In December 2023, I earned a bachelor's degree in graphic design from the University of Iowa. During that time, I discovered my passion for crafting brand identities that leave a lasting impact by using visually rich design assets to thoughtfully enhance the storytelling behind each brand’s personality. This passion inspired me to work in-house for a brand I have admired throughout my Iowan life, the University of Iowa. Over the course of this graphic design role, I designed more than 80 digital and print assets, gaining hands-on experience and deepening my connection with the brand. My desire to learn more about design did not stop there. I wanted to understand how design impacts users on a digital interaction level, so I enrolled in UI/UX design courses through UC San Diego Extended Studies. I’m always eager to expand my skills and explore different design disciplines because I believe that growing as a designer means embracing new challenges and constantly learning.

Besides designing, I have many hobbies and interests: they include hiking, creating ceramic pottery, watching the latest popular TV series, staying current with collegiate sports, and spending time with family and friends. I mainly find fun activities that help fuel my creative nature.
