Pluto Pups is a restaurant in Iowa City, Iowa, focusing its craft on the art of corn dog making.

The corn dog creatives asked me if I would be available to build their brand identity for their restaurant and design and develop a website with HTML and CSS. This website would be a one-stop shop with an interactive menu, methods to contact the restaurant, options to become an accounted member, and a digitally reachable shopping backpack when finished ordering.

Pluto Pups Branding

Pluto Pups brand identity is space-inspired with a bold, futuristic, and fantastical approach similar to their style of corn dogs. All brand assets, including the logo, are created with a three-dimensional flat design style to provide consistency and a mid-point between two-dimensional elements, such as typography, but displaying slight realness to the user.

How Did I Develop Pluto Pups Website?

Their website was a six (6) webpage build, which included these elements and techniques:

  • Semantic HTML with CSS assistance

  • CSS Flexbox and positioning layout

  • Forms

  • MP3 video loop

  • Scaled images by cursor hover
